Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Race Marquette Michigan

Race Day Land Use

The Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic race course is made up of a combination of public and private land. We have a one day permit to go through all these landowner’s property for the race. In many cases we are the only group that the landowner allows to pass through and the rest of the 364 days of the year their property is completely no trespassing.

Please do not ride the private landowner property other than on race day. These days everyone has cameras on their trails and any mountain bike seen on their land without permission jeopardizes the event.

The Ore to Shore has over 60 landowners and it is truly an amazing and unique thing that each one of them trusts us enough to bring thousands of racers through each year. This is why we are asking everyone to do the right thing and help us maintain that trust.

Thank you, Scott Tuma
Ore to Shore co-founder and Race Director
